Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 June 2026

The short version. Be 18+, be yourself, be decent to people. Your words and photos stay yours — you let us show them to the people the product is built to show them to. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google; event fees and tickets go through Razorpay. Events are hosted by real people in the real world, so use judgment and read our Safety page. If you break the rules, we can suspend or remove your account.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and NETSPHERE TECHNOLOGIES, a sole proprietorship of Nikhil Sahu, Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India ("Unfyltered", "we", "us"). They govern your use of the Unfyltered app on iOS and Android and the website unfyltered.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and Refund & Cancellation Policy, all of which form part of this agreement. If you don't agree, please don't use Unfyltered.

1. Who can use Unfyltered

2. Your account

You sign in with your phone number and a one-time password. Keep your device and number secure: you're responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your account has been accessed without permission, contact hello@unfyltered.com immediately. We may require re-verification before restoring access.

3. Your licence to use the Service

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app and the Service for their intended purpose: meeting people through words and events. You may not copy, scrape, data-mine, reverse-engineer, resell, or build a competing dataset or service from any part of Unfyltered, and you may not access it by automated means.

4. Your content

5. Rules of conduct

The full house rules live in our Community Guidelines; they're part of these Terms. In brief, you must not:

Zero tolerance: any sexualisation of minors or child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) results in an immediate permanent ban and a report to law enforcement and relevant authorities. No warnings, no appeals.

6. Paid features

6a. Unfyltered+ subscriptions (Apple / Google billing)

6b. Event fees and tickets (Razorpay)

7. Events: hosts, attendees, and the real world

8. Safety and moderation

You can report any profile, photo, prompt, message, event chat, or off-platform behaviour from inside the app, and block any user (blocking removes you from each other's view both ways). We review reports and take action ranging from warnings to permanent bans, as described in the Community Guidelines enforcement ladder. Reports of underage users or CSAE trigger immediate suspension pending review.

9. Our role as an intermediary

Unfyltered is an intermediary under Section 2(1)(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and hosts user-generated content. We observe the due-diligence obligations of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, including publishing these rules, informing users of prohibited content, and operating a grievance mechanism with a resident Grievance Officer (see Grievance Redressal). To the extent provided by Section 79 of the IT Act, we are not liable for third-party content made available through the Service; we act on unlawful content when we obtain actual knowledge through a court order, an appropriate government notification, or our grievance process.

10. Termination

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that you will meet anyone, match with anyone, or enjoy any particular event; that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free; or that other users are who they claim to be (verification badges reflect a selfie check, not an identity or background check).

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Service — including the conduct of other users online or at events. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us (through subscriptions, listing fees, or our platform fees) in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) ₹5,000. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or your right to approach a consumer forum.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NETSPHERE TECHNOLOGIES and its proprietor from claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your events, your conduct toward other users, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-excludable consumer-protection rights you hold (including the right to file before a consumer commission having jurisdiction), the courts at Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service. Before going to court, we'd genuinely like the chance to fix things — write to grievance@unfyltered.com first.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product and the law evolve. For material changes we'll notify you in the app before they take effect and update the date above. Continuing to use Unfyltered after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms. If you don't, stop using the Service and delete your account.
